OPEN SOURCE:

Open Source is a software which allows the distribution in source code. Open source is downloaded via Internet without charge. The Open Source will substitued Word, Powerpoints and Excel Documents. Using Open Source computers will not have to have so much memory so they will be lighter. Also people will not have to buy the programs mentioned above they will instead download free Open Source and from there they have the rest of the progtams.

OPEN OFFICE:

Open Office is an office application of Open Source. It is free to download. Open Office is compatible with Linux, Windows, Mac, FreeBSD and Solaris. It has a word processor, spread sheet, a presentation program, a database managment program, a vector graphic editor and a Microsoft Equation Editor.

P2P- Peer-to-peer

P2P or peer-to-peer is software where people exchange music and video. P2P is basicly uploading and downloading files, people connect to each other with no need of a central point of management to upload and download. P2P is an alternative to client-service design.

Peer-to-peer applications are are Shareaza, BitTorrent, Ares, Bearshare, Kazaa, Defunct Morpheus, Limewire, eDonkey, eMule and WinMX.
