P2P or peer-to-peer is software where people exchange music and video. P2P is basicly uploading and downloading files, people connect to each other with no need of a central point of management to upload and download. P2P is an alternative to client-service design.
Peer-to-peer applications are are Shareaza, BitTorrent, Ares, Bearshare, Kazaa, Defunct Morpheus, Limewire, eDonkey, eMule and WinMX.
